The Shield
Picture

A shield that is pointed on the bottom, with five points on top. There is a border surrounding it. A tetrahedron with a circle around it is in the middle, with two triangles curved at the base parallel to the circle projected out each side laterally, with a tall pillar below it curved at the top parallel to the circle. Above it is a Celtic-style diamond.

Protection is represented by the shield. The border represents multiple layers of protection.

A tetrahedron is a Platonic Solid, representing the element of fire. Fire represents power, such as a furnace churning out energy, the firepower of armaments, or shimmering gold or jewelry of wealth. Wealth implies value. Power implies strength.

Candles and campfires can turn into roaring wild fires without proper containment, so fire represents the strength and willpower of self-control as well. Discipline being the tools to achieve self-control. Honor, valor, and integrity are strong goals of achieving self-control. It is a path to the light, or the righteous.

An upright triangle is representative of masculine energy, such as the quality of protection and achievement. Fire is known as a masculine element, opposite the feminine element of water.

The tetrahedron also appears as a jewel, representing focus or the goal. Notice how jewels inspire attention and fascination. A circle surrounding the tetrahedron represents holding the focus steady. The pillar provides stability and foundation with the lateral triangles providing balance and awareness, equating a sense of focus and presence known as being "centered".

The pillar additionally appears as a candlestick with the tetrahedron as its flame, and the lateral triangles as diffusing light. Light that is righteous, and light that is awareness. The candle emits a smoke that forms a diamond representing the quality of digesting and expelling, or spending energy in a way that is valuable. Digestion of the mind is to process or introspect, which is an essential component of discipline and awareness. With the tetrahedron pointing upwards towards the diamond, it represents the goal of ascending, improving, leveling up in a way as to achieve greater value. The diamond additionally represents the goal of reaching the stars above, the goal of discovering the value hidden within oneself and others, and the goal of protecting life (as it also resembles a womb).

Four directions are also represented by the lateral triangles, the bottom of the pillar, and the top of the diamond. This implies navigation, awareness of territory, boundaries, spatial awareness or sense of distance, knowing where to go and what to do, and being decisive about the direction and means by which to reach one's destination.
